About Michael Gallagher

For over twenty years now Mike has used his acumen in business planning and applied coaching and training to help business owners and managers and their employees achieve improved outcomes and increased growth for their enterprises. Believing that it “all begins with a great plan but shouldn’t end there”, he has developed processes to help implement change throughout the management and operational levels of a wide variety of companies as diverse as construction, mechanical services, food service, manufacturing and retail.

Mike helps owners struggling with business issues understand that further growth may not be the first priority. Through review and assessment of current challenges he applies the proven “plan, train, engage, impact” model to identify and implement the most effective means of achieving outcomes necessary to sustain business. And then, to plan for managed growth.

Earlier in his career he developed a strong business foundation working several years in various management positions for one of Canada’s largest financial institutions. He is also currently an associate of The PACE Network, a dynamic group of specialized business consultants working with a growing list of SMEs.

Outside of work he and his wife enjoy varied family activities and travel, including most recently, a trip to Switzerland and Italy. His current focus – a perennial springtime promise to spend more time becoming a passable golfer.
